Wedding Timeline & Forms

• 6+ Months before your wedding: Initial Meeting with Priest
  • If you or your fiancé have been previously married and have not received an annulment from the Catholic Church, we can discuss the next steps with you.
  • An annulment will be needed before scheduling a wedding date.
• 4 – 6 months before: Provide a current copy of your Baptismal certificate
• 5 – 6 months before: Complete the FOCCUS inventory
• 5 – 6 months before: Meet with a Mentor Couple.
• 3 - 6 months before: Attend an Engagement Encounter Weekend
• 3 – 5 months before: Complete a 1 hour Natural Family Planning Intro session
• 2 - 3 months before your wedding:
  • Meet with our Pastor to go through your wedding liturgy
  • Meet with our Director of Music to plan your music for your wedding. See Approved Music list, see below, for a list of approved songs, please bring this to your meeting
  • Meet with one of our Wedding Coordinators to go over your wedding liturgy
• 1 - 2 month before (2–3 months if getting married somewhere else from Seven Dolors): Complete and turn in all Marriage paperwork to the Parish Office
• 1 - 2 months before your wedding: Complete the Wedding Invoice.
